Darby LaGrave

Darby creates after spending time outside or reviewing photos. She takes several photos, and then composes the group of individual shots into a single painting that embraces the essence of the memory. She works in acrylics, oils and watercolors. When she journals or take notes, creative ideas surface. Her notes are full of little sketches and many of these become paintings.
