Amelia Audish

Painter

A native Texan, Amelia has been creating since she was a young child. She is primarily self-taught; however, Amelia attributes much of her knowledge from learning at the feet of the masters. The signature styles of various artists such as Monet, Rembrandt, Cole, Norman Rockwell and many others have influenced her. She has attended workshops and classes of modern masters, including watercolor artists Mary Whyte, Michael Holter, and Frank Eber. All of these have informed her process and progress.

Over the years, Amelia has delved into calligraphy, spent some time with small-scale hand-built sculpture, experimented with acrylic and other media, and has found watercolor to be a favorite medium. She is a member of the Southwestern Watercolor Society, the Art Club of McKinney, The Cove in McKinney, and teaches watercolor classes in McKinney.
